This Turkish Anatolian kilim originates from the Denizli region, an area with a long tradition of flat-weave textile production. Kilims from this area are recognised for their bold geometric diamond patterns and warm, earthy colour palettes. The central diamond medallion is a common Anatolian motif, traditionally understood as a protective symbol, often referred to as 'the eye' to ward off evil.
Dating from around 1940 to 1960, this piece displays the rich burnt orange, red, and muted teal tones characteristic of natural and early synthetic dyes of the period. The flat-weave construction gives the kilim a lightweight, versatile profile while maintaining the durability that has made these textiles functional staples of Anatolian domestic life for generations.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original condition. As our rugs ship directly from Morocco, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
