Charcoal Grid
Handwoven in the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco, this rug represents the Beni Ourain diamond lattice at a tighter, more graphic scale. Dark charcoal lines form a dense grid of diamonds across the ivory field, the pattern covering the full surface with quiet regularity.
Compared to its wider-spaced counterparts, this piece has a more structured, architectural quality. The closer grid creates a sense of rhythm and repetition, while the hand-knotted construction ensures each intersection remains subtly unique. A grounding piece with real visual weight.

Hand-knotted by Amazigh women of the Beni Ourain tribe. Plush wool pile with minimalist geometric diamonds on an ivory field. Each knot tied individually on a traditional wooden loom.
